Free by the Sea provides a constructive and supportive environment conducive to successful rehabilitation from drug or alcohol addiction. Clients can expect comfortable accommodations in a secluded and beautiful setting, an experienced and professional staff that is focused on client success, and access to the tools and learning opportunities that will facilitate the transition to a life free from addiction.
Daily Schedule
Clients will follow a daily schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. seven days per week. In addition to time for classes, counseling sessions, 12-step groups, and other educational or development programs, time is also set aside for meditation, reflection, and personal activities of the client’s choosing.

Dr. Richard Crabbe joined our team in 2019 as our psychiatrist and medical director. He attended the University of Ghana Medical School where he became a Medical Doctor in 1977. From 1978 through 1984, he was a medical officer in the Ghana Navy and provided a variety of services from general medicine to surgeries. He received his Certificate in General Psychology from the American Board of Psychology and Neurology in 2002.
